Stand up paddeling at your fingertips! The startup Kolula approached us with the idea of an on-demand SUP rental service.  We designed the personnel-free rental system which will be placed at prominent waterfront locations across different German cities.  The client asked us to design different versions of the rental system to be able to adapt to the local characteristics of each location. Our solution allows single or double-sided access combined with an integrated, added or stand alone, changing room.  We went through the whole design process, from the first sketches to the final production drawings, and also arranged and supervised the production of the first prototypes. This project has been recognized with the first prize in the category ‘digital services’ of the Designpreis Brandenburg. Yeah!
